About Me

Technically, I write code. Logically, I design systems. Passionately, I build video games.

I’m Jonatan Sosa, a gameplay and engine programmer focused on writing clean, decoupled, and high-performance code. I am motivated by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, optimizing complex systems, and turning technical challenges into solid, memorable interactive experiences.

I graduated with a degree in Video Game Development Engineering from San Ignacio de Loyola Institute (ISIL), graduating first in my class with an academic excellence scholarship.

Passionate About Teamwork and Challenging Projects

Over the course of 6+ years, I have contributed to the development and commercial release of cross-platform titles and simulation projects.

I enjoy tackling performance bottlenecks, optimizing real-time frame rates, and designing modular systems that empower design and art teams.

Technical Commitment & Interdisciplinary Collaboration

I firmly believe that good code is code that lifts the entire team: enabling designers to iterate rapidly and artists to see their work come to life without compromising frame rate.
